Product Review: Oxbow Essentials

Manufacturer: Oxbow Animal Health
Brand: Oxbow
Product Name: Essentials Hamsters and Gerbil Food
Website: http://www.oxbowanimalhealth.com/

Gerbils are known to pick through their food grabbing their favorites to eat first and leaving the rest.  This is very common in mix feeding.

Oxbow Essentials is designed as a pellet food to insure that your gerbils receive the whole recommended diet.  A good food, however, a bit high in protein and low in fat.  Ingredients used are great being free of dyes, bad foods and chemicals.  I find mixing Oxbow Essentials with a seed mix is a great combination.
